7UP Unveils “7UP Extra Fizz,” Turning the Hot Summer into an Ultra-Chilled, Extreme Refreshment Experience

Bangkok7UP beverage by Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Company Limited, is bringing a cool approach to the summer heat of 2026 with the launch of its newly reformulated product, “7UP Extra Fizz.”  The new variant elevates the brand’s signature refreshment with an intensified level of carbonation under the concept “Level-Up Refreshment. Extra Fizz.” which is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern consumers seeking zero-sugar beverages alongside distinctive, lifestyle-oriented experiences. The launch further strengthens 7UP’s positioning in the realm of ultimate refreshment and bold fizziness, while the campaign—running from April through August 2026—aims to drive brand awareness, stimulate product trial, and enhance consumer engagement, particularly among its core target audience of Millennials.

Under this strategic direction, 7UP focused on driving both brand awareness and consumer product trial through the launch of the “7UP Freeze The Street” campaign. The initiative transformed the intense heat and stress of Bangkok’s traffic congestion—one of the city’s key consumer pain points—into a refreshing, chilled fizz experience, designed to deliver a distinctive brand experience through a mobile activation 7UP Fizzy Caravan equipped with misting fans and product sampling of the new formulation during peak traffic at red-light intersections. The activation was executed across four major high-traffic intersections in Bangkok, including Asok, Chong Nonsi, Rama 9, and Ratchaprasong, converting peak-hour congestion under extreme heat into a “Mobile Oasis” of refreshment, delivering direct consumer engagement and immersive cooling experiences from April 7–10.

In addition, 7UP executed the “7UP Refreshing Bus Stop” activation by transforming a bus stop at Victory Monument (Phaya Thai-bound) into an extreme cooling check-in point. The installation featured air conditioning, along with interactive activities designed to engage consumers and deliver a chilled, fizzy refreshment experience, including QR code scanning to receive 7UP Extra Fizz and promotional giveaways. The activation took place from April 20–30, 2026.

This campaign reflects 7UP’s strategic advancement in brand communication toward delivering tangible, real-time consumer experiences through moment marketing, engaging consumers at moments when their demand for heightened refreshment is most immediate—moving beyond awareness driven solely by traditional communication. The brand strategically positions itself within key moments of need, transforming these contexts into positive, experience-led interactions that effectively strengthen brand recall. In doing so, 7UP evolves from a functional thirst-quencher into a symbol of fizzy refreshment in real-life moments, embedding itself into consumers’ everyday lives while reinforcing differentiation in a highly competitive market.

7UP Extra Fizz, the newly reformulated variant, delivers an enhanced level of carbonation for an even more intense fizz experience, bringing next-level refreshment and extreme chill. The product is now available in     345 ml, 440 ml, and 1.45-liter bottles at leading retailers and general trade outlets nationwide.
