Suntory PepsiCo Thailand Breaks Ground on State-of-the-Art Expansion Project at Saraburi Plant, Reinforcing Commitment to Sustainable Growth

Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a manufacturer and distributor of beverages under the Suntory and PepsiCo brands in Thailand, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new state-of-the-art expansion project at the Saraburi Plant, this marks a significant milestone in the company's journey to enhancing diverse product portfolios, increasing production capacity to meet growing consumer demand, and driving sustainable growth. This project is aligned with Suntory PepsiCo Thailand’s Must Win Battle strategy, insulated long-term by efficient operations and fostering sustainability.

Suntory PepsiCo Thailand's executives led by Ashish Joshi, Chief Executive Officer (5th from the left), attended the ceremony. This new investment includes the construction of additional bays and essential utilities. The building and utility design target for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver level, reflecting our dedication to energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact. The new facility will feature advanced equipment for reclaimed water, energy-efficient machinery, a solar roof system, and an innovative energy management system to reduce consumption. Energy recovery systems are integrated across all processes, further minimizing environmental impact. Additionally, beverages will be filled using high-speed dry preform decontamination technology with zero water consumption, while the filling block supports low-pressure recycled PET bottle blowing to enhance energy savings.

By advancing our production capabilities with state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly technologies, we are meeting growing consumer demand and setting a new benchmark for environmental stewardship in the beverage industry.
