Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of beverages products under the Suntory and PepsiCo brands in Thailand, led by Ms. Wipawan Tasanapreechachai (1st from the left), Head of Corporate Affairs, provided 45 PET bottle collection bins to Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and supported Suntory PepsiCo Thailand’s products to the Thai Red Cross Society and the BMA for use at the 2024 Red Cross Fair. The event was held from December 11–22, 2024, at Lumphini Park. During the handover, Mr. Khan Prachuabmoh (2nd from the left), Director of Fund Raising Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society, and Vice Chairman of the 2024 Red Cross Fair Organizing Committee; Mr. Pornphrom N.S. Vikitsreth (3rd from the left), Advisor to Bangkok Governor and Chief Sustainability Officer of BMA, and Mr. Panuwatt Ontes (4th from the left), Director of Solid Waste and Sewage Office Management, Department of Environment, BMA, were present to receive the support.
For three consecutive years, Suntory PepsiCo Thailand has supported the Red Cross Fair by providing PET bottle collection bins for recycling. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to sustainable packaging management, strongly focus on post-consumer packaging segregation. By promoting bottle-to-bottle recycling, where used PET bottles are recycled into new ones. This approach maximizes the use of existing resources, strives for a circular economy, and aligns with the BMA’s “No Mixed Waste” policy.
