"Mizu To Ikiru" Achievements over the two years

Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd., main "Mizu To Ikiru" initiatives are the Watershed Conservation Project in Chiang Mai Province and the Water Education (Mizuiku) Project for school children in Rayong, Saraburi and also Chiangmai. Over the past two years, we have accomplished the following:

1. Train the Trainers program for 152 local teachers in 76 schools on water conservation, which shares the element with more than 6,080 students in 3 provinces.

2. Youth Camps and Water Detective activity for more than 1,054 students to raise children awareness on the importance of water resources.

3. Reforestation of 700 rai; vetiver grass planting of 100 rai and 25-kilometers vicinity of risk area to reduce land erosion, firebreaks; and 1,166 check dams in the watershed forest area of the Mae Suk River, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai.

4. Provide water supply systems and water filter systems for 4 communities (Baan Na Klang, Baan Mae Satob, Baan Mae Yod and Baan Huai Bong) in Mae Suk Sub-District, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province, to leverage the quality of life for the communities in terms of access to clean water.
