Mizuiku: Water Education
In Japanese, "mizu" means "water" and "iku" means "education". Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) launched the Mizuiku program in 2019. This unique program is designed to help youth appreciate the beauty of nature and importance of water and the forests that comprise it as well as encourage young generations to think what they could do to make water available in the future.
In an effort to protect watershed forests and preserve natural water resources, Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) works with local NGOs, local government officials and communities in Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province to improve the quality of water and protect natural resources. This program also provides access to clean water and water filtration system for hill-tribe communities.
